The dawn of a new era of entertainment will arrive in Dubai with La Perle, a new show produced and created by Dragone, one of the world's most revered cultural artistic directors. Located in the heart of Al Habtoor City, La Perle will be the region's first permanent show boasting 450 performances per year in a tailor-made state-of-the-art aqua-theatre. La Perle is set to preview in mid-2017.

Red Tape Theatre and Walkabout Theater Company are pleased to present the world premiere of MOTHER OF SMOKE, a co-created production inspired by the collision of Chuck Mee's Trojan Women: A Love Story and Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard, playing March 23 - April 15, 2017 at The Broadway at Pride Arts Center, 4139 N. Broadway, Chicago. Directed by Walkabout's Artistic Director Thom Pasculli+, MOTHER OF SMOKE features original writing by Emma Stanton+, Morgan McNaught, Lucas Baisch and Ruth Margraff* with original music and text by Lucia Thomas. Tickets are currently available at www.redtapetheatre.org. The press opening is Thursday, March 23 at 8 pm.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, February 19 with a celebration of the iconic director and choreographer Michael Bennett at 9:30 PM at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater. The Meeting*, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration, will come to an end at the conclusion of the season in May 2017. Special guests for the February show include Ashanti J'Aria, who joins previously-announced Carolee Carmello, T. Oliver Reid, Rob Maitner, Jacob Hoffman, Lori Ann Ferreri, Rosie Lani Fiedelmanand Tera-Lee Pollin. Tracy Stark serves as the evening's music director.
