Submissions Accepted For Courthouse Center's Young Playwrights Fest 4/20

The Courthouse Center for the Arts is thrilled to be accepting submissions for its Young Playwrights Festival.  Any student from Kindergarten to Twelfth Grade may submit an original script no later than 4 pm on April 20, 2009.

Scripts may be no longer than approximately 20 minutes long and may not feature more than 10 characters, unusual props or elaborate sets.  10 scripts will be chosen by jury from the K-8 and 9-12 age brackets.  These 10 scripts will be produced and performed by our own professional theater company Center Stage Productions in collaboration with the young playwright prior to the festival.
