Indiana University Opera Theater will close its 2009-10 season with Leonard Bernstein's timeless West Side Story April 9, 10, 16 and 17 at 8 p.m. in Bloomington's Musical Arts Center. The production, presented at the one-year anniversary of a major gift by the Bernstein family to the Jacobs School of Music, will be conducted by guest Rob Fisher, with sets and costumes designed by Jacobs Professor C. Rehearsals begin today, Monday, April 5 for the World Premiere production of PARADISE FOUND, a new musical under the combined direction of Theater legend and 21-time Tony Award winner Harold Prince (the original productions of Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, The Phantom of the Opera, Company, Follies, Evita) and 5-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (Crazy For You, Show Boat, The Producers, Contact). This is their first collaboration since the landmark, Tony Award-winning revival of Show Boat. Following the New York rehearsal period, the production will open at London's acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory with performances running May 19 through June 26.

Australian actor/muscian David Campbell will be releasing his new album, 'On Broadway' on April 2, 2010, in Australia the star has announced on his Facebook page. The disc was recorded at East West Studios in Los Angeles in January 2010, and produced by leading musical director Rob Fisher and veteran arranger Bill Elliott. The release will coincide with a tie-in television documentary David Campbell On Broadway airing on arts channel STVDIO on April 3, 2010.
