Comedy Central, in association with The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), announced today the addition of more than 50 shows to its 2015 line-up, which includes compelling and engaging panel discussions, classic stand-up, musical comedy and podcasts.

Through out the past week, BroadwayWorld has been brinigng you coverage of the 67th Annual Emmy Awards with a decidedly theatre-specific focus, and tonight will be no different. Marking its 12th year, the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with Comedy Central, announced its 2015 line-up today.  Expanding to six days and running from November 10 -15, the festival will feature some of comedy's biggest stars performing in New York City's most prestigious venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, The Theater at MSG, Town Hall and the 92nd Street Y.

Today we celebrate this week's big news that Aaron Tveit is poised to return to musicals via GREASE: LIVE!

BAFTA Award-winning writer, comedian and actor Stephen Merchant will make his West End debut in a new production of Richard Bean's comic two hander The Mentalists. Steffan Rhodri will join Merchant in a return to the West End when the production, Directed by Abbey Wright, runs for a strictly limited season at the Wyndham's Theatre from tonight 3 July to 26 September. Tickets go on sale on Friday 27 February.
