In order to explore and celebrate Shakespeare's final plays, NDSF has selected two works that embody the playwright's voice at the close of his career. The 2016 season is named "Shakespeare's Last Words" and will feature adventure, exhilaration, and redemption.

The retreat allows selected members of the Huntington Playwriting Fellows program two weeks to participate in an artist-driven intensive, developing new plays. The workshop and public readings will take place in the South End at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts, 527 Tremont Street, Boston.

If it is your intention to find your way out of a normal theatre or conventional black box you should find your way to The Invisible Dog. The raw and deconstructed space in Brooklyn on Bergen St. is showing 'And if You Lose Your Way, or A Food Odyssey. The play, consisting of small ensemble cast, is a adaptation of the story of Penelope and Odysseus from Homer's the Odyssey. However, in this telling the past is interwoven with the present in sometimes surreal and candid moments.
