All the Way, the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, starring BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston, opened on March 6, 2014, on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre. The play is directed by Bill Rauch, Artistic Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where All the Way began its theatrical life. Directed by Neil Pepe with musical direction by Matt Gallagher, Writers' Choice saluted Atlantic's iconic playwrights with an evening of unexpected songs. For this year's Gala, Atlantic asked alumni playwrights to choose a favorite song and a favorite musician to perform it. Writers' Choice featured special tributes to Annie Baker, Martha Clarke, Stephen Adly Guirgis, David Mamet, Conor McPherson, and Doug Wright from presenters and performers Jonathan Cake, Bridget Everett, John Gallagher Jr., Rick Holmes, Brian D'Arcy James, Gary Jules, John Kelly, Zosia Mamet, Julianne Nicholson, Laura Osnes, Michael Park, Mary Beth Peil and Isiah Whitlock, Jr. among others. The Donmar Warehouse is preparing to transfer both of its critically acclaimed Conor McPherson productions, The Night Alive and The Weir, within the next two months. Ethan Coen, whose recent play Women or Nothing is currently playing at the Atlantic Theatre Company, just revealed that his plays might be heading to the UK in the near future.
