There were several empty seats at TexARTS last night as Broadway veteran Darcie Roberts took the stage for her first cabaret performance ever. The innovative art-pop chanteuse and songwriter Rachael Sage celebrates the 10th anniversary of her top-selling album "Public Record" in an exclusive one-night only engagement at the renowned Cafe Carlyle at the Carlyle Hotel, on Thursday November 21 at 10:45pm. Featured as part of the Carlyle's new Late Show Series, Sage will be joined by longtime collaborator Russ Johnson (Elvis Costello, Aretha Franklin) on trumpet, and cellist Stephanie Winters (Richie Havens, Paula Cole), who played all the original string parts on "Public Record."
