This winter, the Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre is proud to present Say Goodnight, Gracie by Rupert Holmes. Starring Joel Rooks as George Burns, performances will be held from Thursday, January 30 through Sunday, February 16, 2014.
Playwright Mark St. Germain, author of Freud's Last Session, will be paying Cape May Stage a special visit Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. In two very special talk-backs after the 8 p.m. performances, St. Germain will illuminate audiences to the inspiration for the show and the process of tackling the radically different positions of the two main characters. Audiences will get the opportunity to pose questions and engage in discourse with St. Germain, accompanied by light refreshments in the intimate setting of the Robert Shackleton Playhouse.
Freud's Last Session will run from Wednesday, September 18 to Saturday, October 19 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse located on the corner of Lafayette and Bank Streets in downtown Cape May. Performances are at 8 p.m. and occur Tuesdays through Sundays. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 seniors (62+) and $15 students. A half-price preview performance will take place Wednesday, September 18 followed by the official opening night Thursday, September 19. The long-running hit comedy Jewtopia, will play its final performance on Sunday, April 29 at 3:00PM. The Off-Broadway show, written by Bryan Fogel and Sam Wolfson, began previews in New York September 28, 2004, and opened on October 21.
