A number of theatre vets will be featured on the Emmy Award-winning educational PBS series 'The Electric Company,' which begins its new season February 7 on PBS KIDS GO!

In a class by itself, this Emmy Award-winning series is set to launch season three February 7 with 12 new episodes airing every Monday on PBS KIDS GO! (check your local listings) just 40 short years after the show's critically-acclaimed debut. Produced by Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, the new season of the innovative program stays relevant by continuing its focus on literacy and highlighting the vocabulary of mathematics. The modern adaptation of the daily half-hour show comes back with new original animations, toe-tapping music videos and exciting narrative storylines. Plus, two new characters and an all new celebrity line-up are sure to get kids hollering, 'Hey You GUUUUUYYS!'

On Monday, November 8th, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation honored Julie Andrews along with Grammy® Award Winners John Legend, John Mayer and The ASCAP Foundation. Paul Williams, legendary songwriter and President of The ASCAP Foundation, accepted on behalf of The Foundation. Additionally, Natasha Bedingfield, a member of the VH1 Save The Music Alumni Ambassador Group, performed and the program for the evening, presented by LG Mobile Phones celebrated music as a universal language that shapes our life stories with a special tribute to the 45th Anniversary of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The Sound of Music by Kristin Chenoweth. The festivities were hosted by Broadway veteran and 30 Rock star Cheyenne Jackson.

Yesterday, June 17, the Ainsworth hosted the 'Dockers Khakis Make The Man Event' in New York City. The event was a benefit for Habitat for Humanity in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Father's Day. Actor Peter Facinelli will host the event and Joel Madden, the lead singer of Good Charlotte, will supply the music. BroadwayWorld brings coverage of the event below.

Last Night, March 7, stars from all over the world came out for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards Ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood California. 'The Hurt Locker' won Best Picture and the film's director Kathryn Bigelow took home the award for Best Director. Jeff Bridges took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his work in 'Crazy Heart', Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for 'The Blind Side', Christoph Waltz took home Best Supporting Actor for 'Inglourious Basterds' and Mo'Niqe garnered the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'Precious'.

2009 promises to be a historical and exciting year filled with lots of hope, change and community service. To encourage ever greater levels of service throughout the country, MySpace and Katalyst Media, a production company co-founded by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, teamed up with celebrities to record their personal pledges of service.
