About Face Theatre is pleased to announce its 2016-17 Season, kicking off this fall/winter with a reimagining of I AM MY OWN WIFE, Doug Wright's Tony, Pulitzer Prize and Lambda Literary Award-winning play first developed at About Face in 2003.
The Cape Playhouse's 90th season continues with Talley's Folly, Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winner, starring Emily Kunkel and Ron Menzel. Directed by Skip Greer, it plays June 21 through July 2, with press night set for Tuesday, June 21 at 7:30 pm.

Bay Street Theater has announced the full cast and creative team for THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO, the Tony Award-winning play by Alfred Uhry, directed by Will Pomerantz. The production will run June 28 - July 24.

The popular Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse returns to First Stage for Kevin Kling's theatrical adaptation of Kevin Henkes best selling children's book beginning this May. A picture book written in 1996, Henkes' story features a tiny little girl mouse struggling to be who she is, wearing glitter sunglasses and mismatched outfits--as Lilly called herself, 'The Queen of the World' who liked everything' and in 2016, celebrates 20 years still tucked firmly in children's hearts.
Kevin E. Moore will join Actors Theatre of Louisville as Managing Director this summer in advance of the Tony Award-winning theatre's 53rd season. The appointment was announced less than three months after former Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein departed for a leadership position at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, MN. Moore, who for the past six years has been the Managing Director of Theatre Communications Group (TCG) in New York City, will transition to this position effective July 6, 2016.

Laura Osnes, well-known Broadway star who was born and raised in Eagan, Minnesota, knew from the beginning she was a performer.
