Wishful Drinking, Carrie Fisher's hit stage production of the autobiographical tale of her life, was featured on HBO as a feature-length documentary in December 2010. Wishful Drinking will come to DVD and Blu-Ray September 13 from HBO's home entertainment line.

Broadway In Chicago announced today that Hollywood film star, best-selling novelist, acclaimed screenwriter and newest Jenny Craig spokesperson Carrie Fisher is bringing her award-winning WISHFUL DRINKING to the Bank of America Theatre (18 W. Monroe St.) for a limited two-week engagement Oct. 4 - 16, 2011. The archly funny one-woman show is created and performed by Carrie Fisher. Individual tickets for WISHFUL DRINKING go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 8 a.m.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced a full slate of musical productions, a developmental reading series and special events for their eighth annual festival. This year's Festival will begin September 26th and continue through October 16th.
