Cast, Creative Team Set for The Hub Theatre's THE TYPOGRAPHER'S DREAM

Casting has been announced for The Hub Theatre's Spring production of THE TYPOGRAPHER'S DREAM, by Obie-Award winning playwright Adam Bock. Three professionals, a typographer (KATIE NIGSCH), geographer (JENNA SOKOLOWSKI), and stenographer (DANIEL COREY) strive to explain their work in this humorous examination of art and occupation, boundaries, and self truth.

And all isn't as it seems to be.

The premise of RICHARD THE THIRD, as presented in NextStop Theatre Company's brilliant first professional production, which includes both deaf and hearing actors, is that the villainous Richard is deaf. Converting Richard from a character who feels alienated because of his appearance to one who feels alienated because he can't communicate effectively resonates with modern audiences.

NextStop Theatre Company continues its inaugural professional season with a new vision for William Shakespeare's Richard III, running today, January 30-February 23, 2014. Directed by Dr. Lindsey D. Snyder, this production re-imagines Shakespeare's most deliciously evil villain as an ambitious Deaf man, ruthlessly seeking power in an hearing world. The cast will be led by Ethan Sinnott (Gallaudet University) playing the title role of Richard.

The Hub Theatre Announces Cast and Creative Team for Upcoming A MAN, HIS WIFE, AND HIS HAT

Casting has been announced for The Hub Theatre's spring production of LAUREN YEE's time-bending comedy, A MAN, HIS WIFE AND HIS HAT. SASHA OLINICKleads the cast as Hetchman, a retired hatmaker and title character of the piece. Olinick earned rave reviews as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the Round House Theatre production of AMADEUS. This production marks his debut with The Hub Theatre.
