From 13 May 2013 Anna-Jane Casey will join the West End cast of Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre to play Billy's dance teacher Mrs Wilkinson. Also joining the cast are Kevin Wathen as Billy's brother, Tony, Howard Crossley as George and Alexander Loxton as Older Billy.

EMI Classics has announced the second album from world renowned conductor and arranger John Wilson and The John Wilson Orchestra, entitled Rodgers & Hammerstein: At The Movies . The album, which will be released on April 9th, showcases music from Rodgers & Hammerstein's best-loved musicals, including You'll Never Walk Alone (Carousel), Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin'! (Oklahoma) and I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair (South Pacific), all brought to life by John's handpicked ensemble of some of the world's finest musicians, as well as soloists Joyce DiDonato, Sierra Boggess, Anna-Jane Casey, Maria Ewing, Julian Ovenden, David Pittsinger, and the Maida Vale Singers.

It's a lovely feeling to rehearse a show that's set in London and all about Londoners here. It seems strange that the first performances in 1967/1968 were in Toronto, Boston and New York.

According to reports, Stephen Tompkinson will make his West End musical debut in Monty Python musical Spamalot (playing King Arthur). The musical will transfer to the Playhouse Theatre beginning November 20, 2012, with previews starting November 14.
A farm in Hampshire is the unlikely birthplace for a new musical with an all-star cast and the blessing of Stephen Fry. Stars Russel Tovey, Richard Fleeshman, Julie Atherton, and Anna-Jane Casey are already lined up to be driving through the muddy lanes of East Hampshire to sing on the concept album of the show.

Opening at Cadogan Hall, Sloane Square, on 22 August, this special concert adaptation of Guys and Dolls will star Dennis Waterman as the narrator, Ruthie Henshall as Adelaide, Anna-Jane Casey as Sarah, Tim Howar as Sky Masterson and Graham Bickley as Nathan Detroit.

His debut album Michael Bruce: Unwritten Songs, on which he is joined by a plethora of talent that encapsulates the future of the West End, will be launched with a live concert on Sunday 20 March at the West End's opulent and prestigious Delfont Room at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
