Vatican Falls, the controversial play written by Frank J. The play will feature: Cameron August, John Ball, Carlotta Brentan, Gianmarco Colucci, Nevin Edmundson, Andrew Glaszek, Yvette King, Alice Barrett Mitchell, Jake Robertson, Sawyer Spielberg and Ian Whitt. Stage Directions will be read by Devon Talbott. The four songs were composed by Claudio Procopio with lyrics by Frank J. Avella.

Theatre for the New City will showcase a reading of "VATICAN FALLS," written by Frank J. Avella (author of "CONSENT"), a play set against the backdrop of the Catholic sex abuse scandal, on December 3, 2012 at 7PM.
Based on some factual material, "VATICAN FALLS" follows the life of one survivor who struggles with understanding how those closest to him could damage him the deepest.
Impetus Ensemble will add Lucia Grillo to the cast of this special presentation of an ambitious new play, Vatican Falls, written by Frank J. Avella (author of "Consent") and set against the backdrop of the Catholic sex abuse scandal.

It was discovered by director Mari Gorman as she was hunting for plays for her newly formed company, Glass Beads Theatre Ensemble. The play is a 1950s Noir Suspense drama with comic overtones about a murder involving a young woman controlled by her past. Performances will be at the June Havoc Theatre.
