Shakespeare/Summerfest Orange County (SOC) at The Garden Grove Amphitheater concludes its 2014 season of ONE BIG FAMILY UNDER THE STARS under new Producing Artistic Director, John Walcutt this weekend, Sept. 25-27.

Taking over this season from founding Artistic Director Thomas F. Bradac after 34 years, Walcutt breathed new life, breadth, and influence into the beautiful outdoor venue, with a long summer of stunning variety and critical achievement. From the star-studded May 10 Radio Show, to the Polynesian A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, the return of The Troubadour Theatre Company, Trieu Tran's remarkable TRIEU TRAN (UNPLUGGED), a stellar performance by Bo Foxworth in George M. Cohan's THE TAVERN, the recently concluded audience pleasing MADE IN TAIWAN with Michelle Krusiec, and now concluding with Orange County's own darling and daring modern dance troupe BACKHAUS, it has been a season of fresh air, diversity, and nightly standing ovations.
