Join the Oregon Ballet Theatre from April 17th to the 26th at the Newmark Theatre as they celebrate the extraordinary career and contribution of Alison Roper, even as we also celebrate the bright future of OBT. Roper takes her final bows after 18 seasons of bringing joy to Portland audiences with this program, and we want to send her off in style. In addition to the company premiere of Helen Pickett's lush and colorfulPetal, and the revival of audience favorite The Lost Dance by Matjash Mrozewski, we are planning some surprises that will remind audiences just why Alison Roper has been such an extraordinary presence on our stages. A highlight will be yet another company premiere: Cor Perdut by Nacho Duato, apas de deux to showcase the beauty and power of this incredible artist. You can purchase tickets here.
