Photo Coverage: Everything is Beautiful at the MAD HOT BALLET

On June 13th the Four Seasons Centre for the Arts was buzzing with fashionable people, arts supporters, lovers of the ballet and a veritable who's who of the Toronto scene. They all came out in celebration of MAD HOT BALLET: Danerous Love, which is The National Ballet of Canada's annual fundraising gala.

Guests were treated to a one hour performance of works that showcased the artists of the company performing selections from this season's programming. Afterwards, guests were able to mingle with Artistic Director Karen Kain and members of the company over signature cocktails and tapas.

The evening ended with 500 gala dinner guests feasting on the stage of the Four Seasons in a Carmen-inspired decorative dinner prepared by Mark McEwan. The event was hosted by CBC's Jian Ghomeshi and raised $1 million for the company.
