Garden Theatre presents Orlando Ballet's Magical Princess Doll today, April 11, 2015 at 11am and 2pm and April 12 at 2pm, and Battle of the Sexes at the Garden on April 11, 2015 at 8pm as part of the Garden Theatre's 2014-2015 Live Season. The Garden Theatre's 2014-2015 Media Sponsor is The West Orange Times & Observer.

While Orlando Ballet typically performs in downtown Orlando, these Garden Theatre performances offer audiences in and around the Winter Garden area the opportunity to see Central Florida's only fully residential professional ballet company in an intimate venue.

With performances abbreviated to one hour, Orlando Ballet's Magical Princess Doll is the perfect introduction to the world of dance for all ages. This abbreviated version of the production of Coppélia has been adapted into a one-hour performance in which a magical doll takes life in dance and whimsy. Families will delight in productions that are specifically created to capture the imagination of young ones, while still engaging the adults. Families who've enjoyed Orlando Ballet's Snow White, Peter & the Wolf, Sleeping Beauty and Hansel & Gretel at the Garden Theatre in past seasons are sure to enjoy this classic fairy tale brought to life through dance. Patrons are invited to a complimentary Fairy Tale Celebration from 12pm - 1:30pm each day, where aspiring dancers can meet and greet with the professionals.

A captivating exploration of love's fire and unpredictability marks the newest chapter in Robert Hill's innovative series, Battle of the Sexes. Hill's distinctive blend of classic ballet with modern dance will lead you along a mesmerizing journey through seduction, romance and ardor. Nurturing their talents, Hill's production features Orlando Ballet dancers Arcadian Broad, Telmo Moreira and Chiaki Yasukawa who will share their passions with their own choreography created for this performance. Along the way, Hill incorporates his provocative response to an iconic score - Bolero. It will leave you breathless.

Tickets for either show are $25 for adults, $21 for students/seniors and may be purchased by calling the Garden Theatre Box Office at 407-877-GRDN (4736) or online at gardentheatre.org.
