Loyce Houlton, Minnesota Dance Theatre founder (1962) embraced 34 years of creating, teaching, and producing dance. Renowned for her "Nutcracker Fantasy", Houlton was one of the ?rst American women to gain national and international recognition through her distinct aestheticand a lasting legacy of trademark repertory. Knoxville is "...one of her personal favorites".
