Six of the greatest LATIN ballroom dance superstar couples in the world will present their exciting shows at the Westchester Broadway Theatre this evening, Oct. 21.

You'll see it all...from the plains of Argentina will come the dramatic Argentine Tango and from other countries throughout the world, sambas, rumbas, the cha, cha, cha, mambo and paso dobles.

The Argentine Tango was brought to life on the Argentine pampas by that country's sheep herders (cowboys) over 150 years ago and there is no better team of dancers who have captured the spirit of these gauchos than Argentinians Walter Perez and Leonardo Sardella. Perez and Sardella, of Norwalk, "who are partners on and off the dance floor," continue to perform to sold-out audiences throughout the world. Not only has the pair captured the culture of the Argentine Tango but dance it with the manly power of the gauchos who originated it.

Joining them in the cast will be Shane and Shannon Jensen, of Stamford, CT, the World Cabaret champions and The world Theatrical Dance champions..The Jensens are "mambo masters" who in 2014 are undefeated in American rhythm events across the United States. The Jensens are former members of Brigham Young University's world renown formation team and now teach out of the Metropolitan Dance Center in Stamford.

Also, Spain's Latin champions Manuel Trillo and Anastasia Zhitova will be making their second show appearance in the U.S. Now teaching at the Norwalk Fred Astaire studio Trillo and Zhitova debuted in this country winning the silver in the Virginia State Open. They are now recognized as New England's overall top dancers after sweeping the professional Latin, Ballroom and Showdance titles at the recent FADS New England competition held at the Greenwich Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Tal Livshitz and Ilana Keselman, are the greatest Latin dancers ever to come out of Israel. "The chemistry in their dancing is undeniable," wrote Dance Beat, America's major reporter for Latin dancing news.

By popular request Jorge Torres and Maria Blanco will mark their third appearance at the WBT. Recognized as one of the world's foremost Argentine Tango couples, Torres was "Captain of Dancers" in Broadway's "Forever Tango" and was nominated for a Tony Award for best choreography of a show. The beautiful Miss Blanco has performed throughout the world and produced and directed "What A Woman Wants From a Man in Tango." A show for both men and women.

Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach, originally from Moscow, round out the performers. The couple is the reigning 3-times U.S. National Latin Champions. They were Grand Finalists for the European title in Tallin, Estonia, and semifinalists for the world title in Tokyo, Japan. Earlier this year they were the top American team and Grand Finalists at Blackpool, England.
