Kanopy Dance Presents MARTHA GRAHAM: REVERENCE, Now thru 11/17

Kanopy Dance Company will present to Madison audiences the imaginative performances, choreography and staging by world renown former Martha Graham Company Principal Dancers and dance masters.

Relish an evening inspired by Graham's pioneering art that propelled modern dance into the 21st century. Share in the reverence that these world-seasoned dancers hold for the discipline of their craft. Witness Graham's Lamentation Variation Project. Watch historical footage of Martha dancing 'Lamentation.' Enjoy Martha's tour de force 'Steps in the Street.'

Guest performers and choreographers: Donlin Foreman, Martin Løfsnes, Sandra Kaufmann, Winifred Haun, Deb Goodman, Yuriko Kikuchi, and Martha Graham.
