10th ANNIVERSARY SEASON GALA. Founder and Artistic Director Frank Galvez has announced the 10th Anniversary Gala Performance of Galmont Ballet that he describes as fearless artistry, style and entertain- ment, tonight, October 19, 7:30 pm at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne. The pro- gram embodies a look back at the Company's significant accomplishments and a vision forward to the kind of dynamic, witty, diverse and relevant dance that has held it at the forefront of Brevard area performing arts for a decade.

The Galmont Ballet's 10th Anniversary Season has been a time to reflect on the successes and highlights of the past 10 years and while also looking forward to a bright and exciting future. This Anni- versary Gala Performance celebrates Frank Galvez's innovative arts programming and creative excellence that have drawn audiences from across our county and far beyond. The re-staging of favorite repertory pieces, from Classical to Contem- porary, featuring among others Galvez's Capriccio

Espagnol (Rimsky-Korsakov), Encounter Pas de Deux (Rachmaninov), Its What We Feel (a selection interpreted by the legendary Frank Sinatra), Forbidden Dreams (Led Zeppelin), and the timeless classics Don Quixote Pas de Deux and Le Corsaire Pas de Deux, this program will be a truly unforgettable celebration.

Highlights of the evening include the performances of Guest International Ballet Stars Rolando Sarabia Principal Teatro Opera di Roma, Joseph Gatti and Adiarys Almeida former First Soloists Boston Ballet, Grace-Anne Powers from La La La Human Steps, Edgar Anido and Christina Dooling from Complexions Ballet Company, freelance dancer Nolan Seda, the reunion of Galmont Ballet Alumni, and members of Galmont Youth Ballet.
