Dance Academy USA Hires Former Golden State Warriors Dancer to Serve as Summer Camp Program Director

Dance Academy USA announces that they have hired acclaimed dance teacher, Jenni Tibbils to oversee their summer camps and dance workshops. Tibbils will serve as Program Director for Dance Academy USA. Dance themed summer camp programs offered at DAU include; Barbie Dance Party, Mary Poppins Camp, Pretty Princess, Winter Ballet Intensive, Flow 40 Dance Workshops, and many more.

When asked about hiring Jenni Tibbils, Jane Carter, Artistic Director at DAU stated, "Jenni is an accomplished dancer as well as an amazing teacher. Jenni has over 10 years experience teaching dance in both private dance studios and public high schools. Her students love the individual attention they receive, as well as her energy and enthusiasm. She helps her students find success at their own level, so they can truly enjoy their dance experience."

Jenni was once a student at Dance Academy USA, where she received training from Jane Carter. "Having the opportunity to return to DAU in a teaching role is truly exciting for me." Since being a student at DAU, Jenni has taught jazz, creative dance, acro, modern, hip hop and cheerleading. Professionally, Jenni has danced for the San Jose SaberCats and the Golden State Warriors, and danced at halftime for Stanford and the San Francisco 49ers. In addition to being a certified dance instructor, Jenni is a credentialed high school English teacher in California.

Dance Academy USA is the largest dance studio in Northern California and has served the San Jose area dance community for over twenty years. DAU is a Bay Area Green Business which offers classes in tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, Zumba, hip hop and breakdancing. Those interested in enrolling in Dance Academy USA summer programs, are encouraged to complete the summer registration form located at DanceAcademyUSA.com. Payment for desired services, camps, intensives, classes and/or class card should be included and mailed back with the registration. The summer tuition rates are a one-time fee and reflect the total cost of the summer session based on the number of hours/week of classes each individual student will be taking. Dance Academy USA was founded in 1990 by James R. and Jane R. Carter. The business has since expanded in size, becoming the largest dance studio in Northern California with a staff with over 50 employees. Jane Carter is a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in Human Performance and Fitness and a minor in Nutrition and Food Science. While at San Jose State University, Jane was a member of Spartan Spectrum Dance Team. While in college she was also selected as the Dole Corporation "Ambassador" which allowed her to teach dance in Japan. Additionally, Jane is a former dancer for the Golden State Warriors and a professional cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers.
