The Sydney Symphony Orchestra Celebrates the 55th Anniversary of MARY POPPINS Premiering in Australia ahead of the film's 55th anniversary in 2019, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will present Disney in Concert: Mary Poppins, performing the score from the original 1964 film live-to-picture at the Sydney Opera House on 14 and 15 September, 2018.

Fans will be immersed in a family-friendly supercalifragilisticexpialidocious symphonic cinema experience, featuring the five-time Oscar award-winning Disney film Mary Poppins on the big screen, with stars Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke telling the story of a nanny who is practically perfect in every way.

The Sydney Symphony Orchestra will perform the Academy Award-winning music from The Sherman Brothers, including Let's Go Fly a Kite, Step In Time, Jolly Holiday, A Spoonful of Sugar, and Chim Chim Cher-ee, for which they won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Tickets will be on sale from Friday 29 June at 10am via sydneysymphony.com.
