MILWAUKEE, WIS. 11/12/2013 - The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra announces a variety of holiday
performances for the 2013 season. The holiday performances kick off with Canadian Brass Holiday on
December 4, 2013, performing holiday songs in their signature style, led by Associate Conductor
Francesco Lecce-Chong. On December 6-8, 2013, Holiday Pops Spectacular takes the stage with guest
conductor Stuart Chafetz, vocalist Mike Eldred, Milwaukee Symphony Chorus, Milwaukee Children's
Choir, Milwaukee Youth Chorale, and Milwaukee Handbell Ensemble in a performance filled with
seasonal favorites, sing-alongs, and holiday tunes.

On December 7, 2013, the MSO presents a Joan Steele Stein Family Concert, The Snowman - Film with
Orchestra, which will screen the classic animated film with the original score performed live and offer
pre-concert family activities. In venues around the city, the orchestra performs Messiah on December
18-22, featuring acclaimed guest soloists with conductor Christopher Seaman in this holiday tradition.
Finally, ring in the New Year with the MSO and guest conductor John Mauceri in a special New Year's
Eve Celebration on December 31, 2013, complete with a champagne toast for all in attendance.
