Following last night's Super Bowl advertising blitz, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) has released a commercial of its own. The following trailer touting the orchestra's Tchaikovsky Festival is meant to drive ticket sales, as well as build awareness around the festival's six free live webcasts on dso.org/live.

Check out the trailer below!

The Tchaikovsky Festival runs Feb. 12 through March 1, beginning an annual winter tradition immersing patrons in the work of a noted composer following the success of the DSO's 2013 Beethoven Festival.

Conducted by DSO Music Director Leonard Slatkin and featuring celebrated pianist Olga Kern, violinist Julian Rachlin and cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan the festival is meant to not only examine Tchaikovsky's music but the whole man through six symphonies, three piano concertos and much more.
