The Canticum Novum Singers, Harold Rosenbaum, Conductor and Artistic Director will present A Canticum Novum Christmas Holiday Concert this weekend, December 13 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, December 14 at 2:00 PM at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 87th St. (between Broadway and West End Ave.) in Manhattan.

These first concerts of The Canticum Novum Singers' 42nd Anniversary season will include Ave Maria in versions by Mendelssohn, Verdi and Rachmaninoff, Poulenc motets for the season of Christmas, Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols, popular classics and more.

Special guests will be organist James Adams and The Canticum Novum Youth Choir, Edie Rosenbaum, Director.

The Canticum Novum Singers, hailed by critics and audiences alike, is now in its 42nd season under the direction of its founder, Harold Rosenbaum. During the past 41 years, this chamber choir has achieved both national and international recognition for its stylistic versatility, vocal blend, and expressive range. The ensemble has presented dozens of world, American, and New York premieres by composers ranging from Handel, J.C.
