C4: The Choral Composer/Conductor Collective Presents New Choral Music With New York Composers Circle On May 15 At Church Of The Transfiguration In Manhattan

C4: The Choral Composer/Conductor Collective will present a program of new choral music, in cooperation with New York Composers Circle, on Tuesday, May 15 at 7:30 PM at Church of the Transfiguration, the "Little Church Around the Corner", 1 E. 29th Street (between Madison and Fifth Avenues) in Manhattan.

C4 continues its second decade with this program featuring the group's trademark eclecticism, this time presenting works, featuring six World Premieres and one New York Premiere, by NYCC composers, including Frederick Boyle's Four Prayer Songs, Richard Brooks' Yeats Triptych, Tamara Cashour's Sacred Introits, Robert Cohen's Peter Quince at the Clavier, Kevin McCarter's When the Dawn, Timothy Lee Miller's Jubilate Deo, Dary John Mizelle's Requiem and Kyrie, Dana Dimitri Richardson's Remembrance and David See's The Kiss: A Dialogue, from Two Poems by Robert Herrick. Special guest will be pianist Tamara Cashour.

The New York Composers Circle is an artistic and educational organization dedicated to new music - its creation, its performance, and the development of new audiences.
