The 45th annual Hershey Symphony Orchestra season features something for everyone - from Broadway and classical, to holiday favorites, Latin selections and music to put you in the spirit of Halloween.

Join the 80-piece Hershey Symphony Orchestra and three of Broadway's brightest stars for a concert celebrating the current Broadway hits and revivals gracing the Great White Way at 8 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Hershey Theatre.

"Broadway Today," presented in association with Monica Robinson Ltd., features the vocal talents of Craig Schulman, Rita Harvey and Gary Mauer. The performers will share songs from musicals including Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll & Hyde, Mama Mia, Chicago and others.

The Orchestra will scare and delight you with selections at "Halloween Hoots & Horrors" on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 8 p.m. The concert features music from Der Freichutz Werewolves, Berlioz's Witches' Sabbath and the classic "Sorcerer's Apprentice" from Disney's Fantasia. The orchestra will be in disguise and invites the audience to come in costume as well.

The annual holiday spectacular, set for Friday, December 6, 2013 at 8 p.m., is a seasonal tradition for many. The concert will feature familiar songs, an audience sing-a-long and a visit from Santa Claus. The concert will also showcase the talents of the Symphony's 2013 Young Artist Competition winner, Cellist Lilly Wushanley.

The music of our February concert will heat things up as the "South of the Border" concert on February 21, 2014 at 8 p.m. features music from Latin America and the Caribbean. From tango music, to selections from Carmen and Carlos Santana, this concert will warm your heart with thoughts of sunny, romantic faraway places.

On April 11, 2014 at 8 p.m., the Symphony concludes its regular season with "Symphonic Blockbusters" featuring romantic and dramatic favorites featuring internationally-recognized violinist Lara St. John.

The evening features dancing to the Orchestra and the Hershey Big Band in addition to an auction, raffle and dinner. Discounted tickets to the gala are available to season ticket holders. The Hershey Symphony Orchestra is comprised of more than 80 accomplished local musicians and strives to engage the community through artistic excellence and live performances of great music.
