As of this afternoon, ABC has begun handing out early renewals for the 2016-17 television season.

Roddenberry Entertainment President Rod Roddenberry, son of the late 'Star Trek' creator Gene Roddenberry, and COO Trevor Roth, join the new 'Star Trek' television series as executive producers, joining Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin and Bryan Fuller, who was previously announced as the new series showrunner.

FOX has ordered eight one-hour episodes of SUPERHUMAN, the unscripted competition series that tests the abilities of ordinary people to use their extraordinary skills. The episodes were picked up following a two-hour special which aired Jan. 4, 2016. Kal Penn will return as host for the all-new episodes.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will provide special coverage of the Super Tuesday primaries and caucuses live from New York on March 1st.  Beginning with Fox & Friends First at 5AM/ET, all of FNC's signature daytime programs will be presented at their regular times with an additional America's Election Headquarters, co-anchored by Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly,from 6PM-1AM/ET to breakdown all of the state races.  Co-anchors Eric Shawn and Heather Childers will take over the hosting duties from 1AM-4AM/ET for a second American Election Headquarters where they will continue to report on the results.

BONES, the long-running comedic procedural beloved by millions of fans around the world, will return for a final farewell 12th season on FOX, it was announced today by Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs, Fox Television Group. The 12-episode run will celebrate the inventive series and bring the storylines of Brennan (Emily Deschanel), Booth (David Boreanaz) and the Jeffersonian-FBI team to a close, allowing the show's loyal fans to say goodbye to these indelible characters.  When BONES ends its run, the series will have completed 246 original episodes, making it one of the longest running FOX series ever.
