Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), a premier next generation global content leader, and Universal Cable Productions announced today that they have signed an agreement with The Royalscreator Mark Schwahn to continue as executive producer, writer and director for the hit E! drama series. In addition, Schwahn has signed a new multi-year, first-look television deal to develop scripted programming to be co-produced by Lionsgate and Universal Cable Productions.

SAG-AFTRA mourns the passing of former Screen Actors Guild President Anna Patty Duke Pearce, better known as Patty Duke. Duke was elected president in 1985, becoming the second female president of the union. Duke was an Oscar and Emmy-winning actor, labor activist, and pioneering advocate for mental health issues. She was 69.

NBC Sports Group presents 29 hours of coverage of the 2016 ISU World Figure Skating Championships from TD Garden in Boston, Mass., highlighted by the ladies' free skate this Saturday, April 2, live at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. Live coverage begins this Wednesday, March 30, at Noon ET with the short dance on NBCSN. NBC Sports Group will cover every event in the four-day competition, which is being held in the U.S. for the first time since 2009 (Los Angeles).

Disney XD and Disney Channel will debut a 'sneak preview' of the innovative new series that blends scripted comedy with real hidden-camera pranks, 'Walk the Prank,' on April Fools' Day, FRIDAY, APRIL 1 (6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. EDT). The 'Walk the Prank' cast Cody Veith ('Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn'), Bryce Gheisar ('A Dog's Purpose'), Jillian Shea Spaeder ('Theatre and Me's the Bully'), Brandon Severs ('The Neighbors') and Tobie Windham ('The Wesley's') will host the sneak preview. Please Note:  On Easter Sunday, overall Adult 18-49 TV usage was down a significant -7% week to week during primetime (29.7 vs. 31.8).   ABC's Sunday programming on the holiday will be coded as “specials” with Nielsen and excluded from the season averages.
