At a successful community event at La Plaza Mexico followed by a press conference in Los Angeles, California, Telemundo announced the premiere of "Camelia la Texana" Tuesday, February 25 at 10pm/9c. Filmed in high definition and starring Sara Maldonado and Erik Hayser, the super-series is inspired on the popular corrido "Contrabando y Traicion" by the legendary group Tigres del Norte. The plot is set in different cities in Mexico, Los Angeles and San Antonio in the 1970s and was produced by Campanario Entertainment with a production team numbering more than 200 and nearly 100 actors.

According to Deadline, Maggie Lawson has been tapped to star in CBS' upcoming comedy pilot SAVE THE DATE, stemming from Jackie and Jeff Filgo. Lawson recently starred in this season's cancelled ABC series BACK IN THE GAME.

Logo TV, Viacom's television, digital and social brand focused on the LGBT community, today announced that two-time Olympic medalist and three-time World Champion women's hockey player, Caitlin Cahow, will serve as Logo's first ever Olympic columnist. Cahow, who was part of the Presidential Olympic Delegation during the opening ceremonies, will write a series of articles exclusively for LogoTV.com highlighting her experiences in Sochi as an openly gay woman, her experiences as a gay athlete during the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympic Games. In addition, Cahow will provide her observation of the people, politics and news set to define the games.

Disney XD has ordered 'Kirby Buckets,' a single-camera comedy series that mixes live-action and animation to bring a young aspiring animator's imagination to life. The series, starring 13-year-old Jacob Bertrand ('Marvin Marvin,' 'Bubble Guppies'), will begin production in Los Angeles in the spring for a fall 2014 premiere on Disney XD. The announcement was made today by Adam Bonnett, Executive Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channel.

MSNBC's “Hardball” with Chris Matthews ranked #1 at 7 p.m. in the key A25-54 demo for the week of February 3-7, according to data from Nielsen. “Hardball” finished the week with 285,000 among A25-54, topping FNC's “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” with 282,000 A25-54 and CNN's “Erin Burnett Outfront” with 111,000 A25-54. This is MSNBC's first weekly demo win at 7 p.m. since Sept. 3, 2012 (live coverage from the 2012 Democratic National Convention).

John Hesling has been named Senior Vice President, Programming, of Shed Media US, it was announced today by Pam Healey, General Manager, Shed Media US. Hesling joins Shed Media US at a time of rapid growth for the company, which has seen seven new series ordered to production in the last nine months alone. In this newly created position, Hesling will oversee all programming at the company, reporting to Healey. The American production entity of the UK-based Shed Media Group (majority owned by Warner Bros. Television Group), Shed Media US is currently producing 13 series across eight networks, includingThe Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo, which returns for its sixth season on March 11.
