Esquire Network today announced the season two pick-up of SPOTLESS, the network's first original scripted series. The announcement follows Esquire delivering significant growth in first quarter 2016, including the network's most watched quarter in its history among A25-54 and total viewers, and second most watched quarter among A18-49.

NBC Sports Group's U.S.-based Premier League team is hitting the road, as the announce team works together on-location in the United Kingdom April 16-19, the second year featuring full coverage from the U.K. The trip kicks off NBC Sports Group's presentation of nine Premier League match days in a 10-day span (April 16-25), including six consecutive days of live matches.

For the fifth consecutive year, every NHL Stanley Cup Playoff game will be presented nationally across the platforms of NBC Sports Group and select NBCUniversal networks. During April, May, and June, NBC Sports Group will televise as many as 105 playoff games and possibly more than 260 hours of programming. It all begins one week from today on Wednesday, April 13.

CMT today announced it will pay tribute to country music legend Merle Haggard, who passed away today at the age of 79, with “CMT Remembers Merle Haggard,” premiering tonight, APRIL 6 at 8:30pm ET/PT.  The special will feature never-before-seen footage and interviews, vintage performance clips and commentary from Haggard himself as well as some of country music's biggest stars including Miranda Lambert, Toby Keith, Florida Georgia Line, Vince Gill, Wynonna Judd, Dwight Yoakam, Brooks & Dunn and Bobby Bare.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) today announced that Sonia Manzano, legendary performer of “Maria” from Sesame Street, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites.

Trevor Donovan (“JL Ranch,” “Texas Rising”) is set to join the cast of CMT's new scripted drama “Million Dollar Quartet” (working title) as Eddy Arnold, country music and pop phenomenon with 85 million records sold and 28 No. 1 hits during his 60 year career. The son of a sharecropper, Arnold's inimitable baritone voice brought country to the masses, and made him the most popular country artist of the 20th century with hits including “Make The World Go Away.” Arnold and Elvis Presley shared much in common throughout their careers, including manager Colonel Tom Parker. Arnold has been cited as having profound influence on Elvis, who cut a number of his songs over the years. He also ranked among CMT's list of 'The 40 Greatest Men of Country Music.'

POLKADOTS: THE COOL KIDS MUSICAL will receive its premiere developmental production at the Ivortyon Playhouse, April 11th-16th, 2016. Conceived by (composer) Douglas Lyons, POLKADOTS was inspired by the 1957 events of the 'Little Rock Nine' in Arkansas and serves as a colorful musical history lesson for children, reminding them that our individual differences make us awesome, not outcasts.POLKADOTS has lyrics by Mr. Lyons, who co-wrote the score with Greg Borowsky (Sony ATV). Melvin Tunstall III (BLooM!) helmed the book. The show's original illustrations are by Salina Giardino.

WGN America announced today that the much-anticipated third season of the supernatural thriller “Salem” will premiere this fall during Halloween week.   The network also released an intense new teaser trailer for the upcoming season currently in production in Shreveport, LA.  “Salem” continues its bloody, sexy and fantastical reimagining of Colonial America, with renowned recording artist Marilyn Mason, who guest stars in the upcoming season as the bloody barber surgeon Thomas Dinley. 

 The war on Wesen rages on! NBC's Friday night drama series “Grimm” has been renewed for a sixth season.

FYI's hit series 'Arranged,' which follows modern American singles whose cultural traditions include an arranged marriage, returns with three new couples for a second season. Eleven hour-long episodes are set to premiere beginning Tuesday, May 10 at 9pm ET/PT.

With five weeks until the Premier League's “Championship Sunday,” NBC Sports Group presents a full slate of action featuring title and Champions League hopefuls, and clubs desperate to avoid relegation.
