According to Deadline, the first part of the season seven premiere 'drew 2.3 million viewers at 10 PM last night. Just ahead of the 2.06 million who watched the Season 2 debut on July 27, 2008, the widely promoted 1-hour debut was down 32% in total viewers from the 3.4 million viewers that watched the Matthew Weiner-created series' Season 6 premiere on April 7, 2013.'

Arnie, Golf Channel's three-night primetime television event on the life and legacy of Arnold Palmer, got off to a record start last night becoming the most-watched original film in Golf Channel's history after only its first of three installments, according to Nielsen Fast Nationals. Also, #Arnie was trending nationally on Twitter during the premiere of Arnie from 10-11 p.m. ET on Sunday night. The first installment of Arnie garnered 471,000 viewers, which nearly doubled (+95%) Golf Channel's previous most-watched original film War By The Shore (241,000 viewers – September 2012), which featured the epic 1991 Ryder Cup and was produced by 51-time Emmy Award-winner and former HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg.

Syfy continues to ramp up its slate of ambitious and high quality scripted series with a straight-to-series greenlight for space-opera project The Expanse, it was announced today by Syfy President, Dave Howe. The 10-episode order is Syfy's boldest new series commitment to date. The Expanse is produced by Alcon Television Group (ATG), a division of Alcon Entertainment, and marks the company's first series order.

Discovery Channel announced today that it will broadcast five nights of live programs from Everest Base Camp beginning at 11 PM ET/PT on Monday, May 5 (weather permitting), leading up to the epic 2-hour event in which climber Joby Ogwyn will leap off the top of Mt. Everest. The event, titled EVEREST JUMP LIVE, will air live on the Discovery Channel in 224 countries and territories and simulcast on Science Channel and Discovery en Espanol in May and is produced by NBC News' Peacock Productions. Hosted by Kyle Martino of NBC Sports and Chris Jacobs, 'Everest: Live From Base Camp,' will take viewers behind-the-scenes of the most challenging and complicated live broadcast ever attempted.

The ever-witty actor/comedian NATE CLARK (Suburgatory) is wearing plenty of hats this spring as he appears in Adult Swim's Dinner with Friends with Brett Gelman & Friends, is one of the newest members of the FOX Writers Intensive, his original pilot (Granted) is currently being reviewed by the network (FOX), and with his career in full swing, it comes as no surprise that Clark would sign on with such a well-respected group as UTA.

ABC finished No. 1 on Thursday in Adults 18-49 (2.4/8), tying CBS and beating Fox's original lineup by 71% (1.4/5). The Net drew its biggest audience on the night since October and hit a 6-week high in Adults 18-49 – since 10/31/13 and 2/27/14, respectively.
