Multimedia entertainment studio Electus, an operating business of IAC (NASDAQ: IACI), today announced that the CW has greenlit the U.S. version of the Venezuelan series Jane the Virgin which is set to premiere on the CW this fall. Electus Intertnational, the global distribution arm of Electus, will handle the international format sales.

Popular entertainment host, journalist, author, producer and reality show star Maria Menounos has signed a multi-year agreement with E! that includes both talent and producing roles. As part of the comprehensive partnership, Menounos will host a new one-hour entertainment news magazine series, 'Untold with Maria Menounos.' Menounos will also be featured on the popular off-the-cuff roundtable series 'Live From E!' and upcoming 'E! Specials.' Additionally, Menounos' production company, Underman/Omegagirl Productions, will hang its shingle at E!, with the network getting first look rights to ideas for series, specials and other projects across all platforms.

ABC won the 2014 May Sweep by double-digit percentages in Adults 18-49 (1.7/5), beating CBS and NBC by 13% each (1.5/5-tied) and Fox by 31% (1.3/4). The Net also ranked No. 1 for the month in Adults 18-34 (1.2/5), Adults 25-54 (2.2/6 - tied w/CBS) and across all key Women (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54), while standing as the top-rated broadcaster with Teens 12-17.

ABC's “Good Morning America Saturday” won the 2014 May sweeps in both Total Viewers (4.053 million), Adults 25-54 (1.407 million) and Adults 18-49 (974,000), according to Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” posted back-to-back Total Viewer May sweep victories, while winning its first-ever May sweep in Adults 25-54. Further May 2014 marked “GMA Saturday's” 5th consecutive sweeps victory in Total Viewers, 4th straight in Adults 25-54 and 3rd win in 4 sweeps periods in Adults 18-49. “GMA Saturday” debuted in its current format in September 2004.

Nickelodeon combines the hilarious world of viral videos, physical challenges and slime in a fresh new format with its latest game show creation, WebHeads, premiering daily beginning Monday, June 2 at 6 P.M. (ET/PT). Hosted by Nickelodeon and Big Time Rush alum, Carlos PenaVega, and produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, the series features kid contestants as they compete in elimination challenges revolving around viral videos. Each round will test kids' video instincts - from predicting outcomes to guessing their popularity, as voted by the studio audience. Starz, in an acquisition from Monterey Media, will exclusively debut the U.S. television premiere of the award-winning film, Half of a Yellow Sun, starring Academy Award(R) nominee and five-time Golden Globe(R) nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor, this fall on STARZ IN BLACK and its associated STARZ ON DEMAND and STARZ PLAY online services. WE tv today announced that it has greenlit the scripted thriller, 'South of Hell,' from Sonar Entertainment and Blumhouse Television. 'South of Hell' is a gripping supernatural thriller set in Savannah, GA and focused on Maria Abascal, a demon hunter whose power stems from within. The premiere episode will be directed by Eli Roth ('Hostel,' 'Hemlock Grove,' 'The Green Inferno'). WE tv has ordered eight, 60-minute episodes of 'South of Hell,' and plans a 2015 premiere.

Lifetime brings viewers to the year 2025 with the premiere of the provocative new conspiracy thriller, The Lottery on Sunday, July 20, at 10PM ET/PT. Currently filming in Montreal, the series stars Marley Shelton (Eleventh Hour), Michael Graziadei (American Horror Story), David Alpay (The Vampire Diaries), Athena Karkanis (Low Winter Sun), Yul Vasquez (Magic City), Shelley Conn (Terra Nova) and Martin Donovan (Homeland).

The series premiere of FX's newest 10/90 comedy, Partners starring Martin Lawrence and Kelsey Grammer has been set for Monday, August 4. FX will air two back-to-back episodes of the show from 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT for five consecutive weeks. Also beginning August 4, Anger Management will move to Mondays and air back-to-back episodes from 10:00-11:00 PM ET/PT immediately following Partners.

Disney XD has ordered a second season of its popular live-action superhero comedy series 'Mighty Med,' it was announced today by Adam Bonnett, Executive Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide. Production will resume in Los Angeles in July for a fall 2014 premiere while new episodes continue to rollout.

Disney Channel will launch a vibrant new channel logo and overall on-air graphics design on FRIDAY, MAY 23 in the U.S. and on each of the other 42 Disney Channels worldwide this year. All interstitial programming, identification spots and programming menus will feature the new logo, style and palette. Following COMMUNITY's cancellation at NBC, Jacobs has signed on to join Lena Dunham and co. for the fourth season of HBO's hit series GIRLS, according to Variety. She's set to appear in a recurring capacity.
