Kathryn Meisle, Stark Sands, Roberta Maxwell, and Everett Quinton received awards from the Actors' Equity Foundation on Friday, January 9th.
Stark Sands who gained acclaim for his work in Journey's End took the St. Clair Bayfield Award for acting in a Shakespeare production, for his performance in "The Tempest" at Off Broadway's Classic Stage Company this past fall season.
Kathryn Meisle and Everett Quinton (co-founder of the Ridiculous Theatrical Company) both received the Joe A. Callaway Award, which honors acting in a classical play, for their parts in Red Bull Theater's current and inspired staging of 'WOMEN BEWARE WOMEN'. Each award comes with a check for $1,000
The awards were presented at Equity's Eastern Regional Membership Meeting at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 9, at the Equity office.
