Improv Boston Presents BEST OF BOSTON SKETCH COMEDY SHOWCASE, Now thru 8/30

For three Friday nights in August, Sketch Comedy will be in the spotlight at ImprovBoston. Every Friday at 10 p.m., from tonight, August 16-30, ImprovBoston is presenting the Best of Boston Sketch Comedy Showcase. Tickets cost $18. Tickets are available at www.improvboston.com. ImprovBoston is located at 40 Prospect Street.

Each week, audiences will experience a tour of Boston's sketch comedy teams in 75 minutes. Hand picked by ImprovBoston, the line-up is an elite selection of Boston area sketch comedy teams. Each week they will perform their best material in a whirlwind 75-minute comedy adventure. The evening features parody, satire, songs, videos and more. Acts featured include: Duct Tape Revolution, Baby Giraffes, Daft Agenda, Autumn & Summar, Mrs. Peanut, Friends of Gertrude, Gin and Chicken, and Sawyer & Hurley. The show is hosted and produced by Allen McRae and Dennis Hurley.
