Bakehouse Theatre Presents JAMES MCLEAN: BIG ENOUGH AND UGLY ENOUGH, Feb. 23-28
Bakehouse presents James McLean: Big Enough and Ugly Enough, a Narrative Comedy, 23-28 Feb 2015.
Performances are 7.30-8.30pm at Studio @ Bakehouse Theatre, 255 Angus Street, Adelaide, Australia.
In his second solo show, James shares stories as he moves out of home in Adelaide to become an independent adult in Melbourne, the self-proclaimed cultural capital of Australia - to follow his dream to have modest success as an actor. As if having to do his own laundry isn't enough, along the way he has to deal with a junior sociopath, an emotionally unstable gym junkie, a naïve charity mugger, an unusually affectionate dancing group, cryptids and becoming a father.
James' knack for finding himself in unusual and precarious situations is rivalled only by his desire to tell everyone about it. His self-deprecating, humorous story-telling and excellent manners are sure to captivate you.
