The Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) has announced their events and exhibitions for November, 2014.

As announced last week, Incubator Arts Project is closing its doors. Before the organization leaves St. Mark's, the group is presenting WSB 100 by William S Burroughs as part of its final lineup of artists.

WSB100 is a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of America's preeminent avant garde literary iconoclast: William S. Burroughs, writer of Naked Lunch, Queer, Junky, and many other experimental works of great American literature. Provocative, disturbing, and exciting as the artist himself, WSB100 and Incubator Arts hosts a series of original world premiere performances in honor of the legendary mindbending troublemaker himself.

RosettaBooks has released three Oscar Hijuelos works as eBooks, including The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love, for which he was the first Latino to win a Pulitzer Prize in 1990, Our House in the Last World, and The Fourteen Sisters of Emilio Montez O'Brien. Oscar Hijuelos recently died at age 62, a huge loss to American literature.

The Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy will present Grit, Graft & Grandeur: The Bowery, a walking tour with Eric Ferrara on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 10:45 AM. Meeting at the southeast corner of Centre and Worth Streets, this two-hour walking tour explores the Bowery, one of the most important thoroughfares of New York City's Lower East Side, as well as the historic neighborhood known as Five Points. Often associated with its 20th century reputation as 'Skid Row,' this under-appreciated avenue was also once one of the most fashionable addresses in New York and is now a quickly gentrifying artery of the East Village.
