Burlington, a national off-price retailer offering designer merchandise at everyday low prices, will launch its seventh annual Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Coat Drive on Friday, November 1, 2013. The coat drive benefits Fashion Delivers, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing apparel and other products donated by manufacturers and retailers to community charities across the U.S. and throughout the world. To date, more than 1.2 million coats have been distributed through the Warm Coats and Warm Hearts program.

WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease announced today a generous donation of $1,110,928 from the national off-price retailer, Burlington. These funds were generated as a result of the retailer's 2 nd Annual Red Dress Event. For the second consecutive year, from February through Easter, customers in all Burlington locations had the opportunity to purchase a red dress icon for $1 or more at check-out, as well as shop for a dress and Burlington would donate $1 for every dress purchased to show their support for the cause.

Burlington Coat Factory, a leading national off-price retail chain, has joined forces with The Foundation for National Institutes of Health (FNIH) and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's (NHLBI) The Heart Truthcampaign dedicated to raising awareness of heart disease among women.

The drive benefits One Warm Coat, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing coats to those in need. To date, over one million coats have been distributed through the program.

The national off-price retailer, Burlington Coat Factory, officially opened its new 92,000 square foot flagship location in the heart of New York City's Union Square. Burlington celebrated the Grand Opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony attended by New York City Assistant Commissioner for Capitol Access and Business Services, Colleen Galvin and Burlington's President and CEO,Thomas Kingsbury.
