Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig are proud to announce that Kinky Boots, the six-time Tony Award-winning musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), will open its national tour in September 2014 at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Las Vegas (361 Symphony Park Avenue).

Kinky Boots, the new smash hit Broadway musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), will be taking over the airwaves on Sirius XM this Memorial Day Weekend, offering a preview of the show's Original Broadway Cast Recording (Masterworks Broadway), one of the most anticipated Broadway CDs in years.

MASTERWORKS BROADWAY has just announced the signing of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Kinky Boots. Produced by Cyndi Lauper, William Wittman and Stephen Oremus, the album will be recorded on March 14, 15 and 25 in anticipation of a May 2013 release.

Kinky Boots creators Harvey Fierstein (book) and Cyndi Lauper (music & lyrics) will sit down with New York Times theater reporter Patrick Healy as part of a New York Times TimesTalks on Monday, March 18th at 6:30 PM E.T. at TheTimesCenter (242 West 41st Street). Michael Riedel reports in today's The New York Post that 'It appears that Jujamcyn's got "Kinky Boots" and will put it in the Al Hirschfeld Theatre next spring following an out-of-town tryout in Chicago in the fall. Jujamcyn's co-producer will be Hal Luftig, who's on a roll with the hit revival of Evita.'

The new show art of the up-coming Broadway musical, Cry-Baby, has been revealed on the show's website. Based upon the Universal Pictures film written and directed by John Waters, Cry-Baby will premiere at Broadway's Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway) beginning previews Saturday, March 15 at 8PM and opening Thursday, April 24 at 6:30PM.
