BAFTA has announced the five nominated stars who are up for the 2012 Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award, the only publicly voted award to be presented at the ceremony in February.

According to The Huffington Post, actor Paul Rudd will be guest starring on NBC's PARKS & RECREATION. The actor will portray a political opponent to Amy Poehler's Leslie Knope on the show.

The non-profit US-Ireland Alliance has announced that actress Michelle Williams will be honored with an Oscar Wilde award. Williams, who has received rave reviews including Best Actress awards from numerous critics groups for her portrayal as Marilyn Monroe in MY WEEK WITH MARILYN, will be honored on Febuary 23, 2012 at the seventh annual 'Oscar Wilde: Honoring the Irish in Film.'

According to EWonline, Jason Reitman, the filmmaker behind such recent hits as 'Up in the Air' and 'The Young Adult', has been performing live readings of some of the most beloved films such as 'Breakfast Club' and 'The Apartment'. Accompanying Reitman in his readings have been a slate of A-list Hollywood stars including Jennifer Garner, Natalie Portman and Steve Carell.

Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park International has picked up international rights to Josh Radnor's LIBERAL ARTS. Radnor wrote, directed and stars in this light-hearted drama with an ensemble cast that includes Elizabeth Olsen, Richard Jenkins, Allison Janney and Zac Efron. HPI's president Ruzanna Kegeyan will be spearheading sales on the project at the upcoming American Film Market.

WANDERLUST is coming to theaters on February 24, 2012 from Universal Pictures. The romantic comedy is directed by David Wain, and co-written by Wain and Ken Marino. The cast includes Wanderlust Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Paul Rudd, Malin Akerman, Ray Liotta, Lauren Ambrose, Kathryn Hahn, and Alan Alda.

The Adrienne Shelly Foundation (ASF), a non-profit organization dedicated to the memory of adored writer, director and actor Adrienne Shelly, is hosting its 4th annual celebrity eBay auction, which kicked-off on the 5th anniversary of Shelly's passing, November 1, and will run through November 10.

This October, the Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize salutes Will Ferrell. The program airs Monday, October 31 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS stations nationwide. Taped at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on October 23, the 90-minute special features a star-studded cast of Ferrell's friends and colleagues including top entertainers Billie Joe Armstrong of the band Green Day, Ed Asner, Jack Black, Matthew Broderick, Gwen Ifill, Adam McKay, Tim Meadows, Conan O'Brien, John C. The ladies ruled the kingdom at the '2011 MTV Video Music Awards,' broadcast live this evening from Nokia Theater L.A. Live, as Katy Perry and Adele each took home three VMA Moonmen and Lady Gaga two. Katy Perry won the biggest prize of the night, 'Video of the Year,' with her pop anthem, 'Fireworks,' as well as honors for 'Best Collaboration' and 'Best Special Effects' for 'E.T.' featuring Kanye West. Adding to her reign atop the album charts, Adele won VMAs for 'Best Art Direction,' 'Best Cinematography,' and 'Best Editing.' Genre and gender-defying Lady Gaga kicked off the night as her alter ego Joe Calderone with a show-stopping performance of 'You and I,' and later walked away with two VMAs for 'Best Female' and this year's new category, 'Best Video with a Message.'
