On February 7, 1964, The Beatles were greeted by a sea of screaming American fans at J.F.K. as they took their first steps onto U.S. soil ushering in the era of Beatlemania.

Due to overwhelming demand, RAIN: A Tribute to The Beatles On Broadway, re-opens at the Brooks Atkinson theatre for an extended run on Broadway after a rocking 13 week engagement at the Neil Simon Theatre where RAIN recouped its initial investment in only seven weeks.

The producers of RAIN - A Tribute to The Beatles On Broadway announced today that it has recouped its initial investment of $2 million in seven weeks. Additionally, due to overwhelming demand RAIN has added three special holiday performances on Tuesday, December 28th at 2pm, Friday, December 31st at 2pm and Saturday, January 1st at 2pm. RAIN, which opened on October 26, 2010 at the Neil Simon Theatre will play its final performance there on January 15, 2010 before reopening at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W. 47th Street) on February 8, 2011.

The members of RAIN - A Tribute To The Beatles on Broadway will perform on THE TODAY SHOW tomorrow morning, Friday, December 3rd.

The 90-minute program will also feature in-studio interviews with two original band members of RAIN - Joey Curatolo ('Paul McCartney') and Steve Landes ('John Lennon'). This special airs prior to the Broadway engagement of RAIN- A Tribute To the Beatles On Broadway which begins previews October 19 at the Neil Simon Theatre for a limited 11-week run. During WLIW21's broadcasts, viewers who support the station with a suggested donation can receive tickets to the October 22 performance of RAIN live on Broadway and attend a post-show meet & greet!
