The well reviewed, NY Times Critic's Pick Baghdaddy by Marshall Pailet and A.D. Penedo returned to NYC on April 6, opening on Monday, May 1, 2017, will close as planned on June 25, 2017 at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street). It will have played 16 previews and 38 regular performances.

The well reviewed, NY Times Critic's Pick by Marshall Pailet and A.D. Penedo, the musical Baghdaddy began performances on  April 6 at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street). This Monday, May 22 they will launch a talk-back series, following the show, with more to be announced.

Here's a follow-up to BAGHDADDY ensemble member Ethan Slater, who will soon star in The SpongeBob Musical on Broadway, singing in the kitchen with his co-stars. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival invites audiences to "be our guest" for a Falstaffian romp through merry old Windsor; a heroic, Homeric journey home to Ithaka; and a revelatory musical journey of self-discovery when its outdoor theatre opens the weekend of June 16-18. The Allen Elizabethan Theatre will feature The Merry Wives of Windsor, directed by Dawn Monique Williams; The Odyssey, adapted and directed by Mary Zimmerman; and Disney's Beauty and the Beast, directed by Eric Tucker. Previews begin June 6, and all three shows will run through the weekend of October 13-15.

Five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb has announced casting for this season's SUMMERWORKS, its annual series of new plays.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University begins performances of FINGERSMITH by Alexa Junge, based on the novel by Sarah Waters, directed by Bill Rauch. Performances begin on Sunday, December 4, 2016 and run through Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge.
