Made by Neal Street Productions for BBC One, the award-winning drama series, Call The Midwife, has completed filming for a Christmas Special to be broadcast this year and has begun filming a new series of eight episodes for 2020.
Helen George To Star In Stage Adaptation Of MY COUSIN RACHEL Opening At Theatre Royal Bath

Theatre Royal Bath Productions today announces a new production of Daphne du Maurier's psychological thriller My Cousin Rachel, starring Helen George (BBC One's Call The Midwife) in the titular role. Adapted by Joseph O'Connor and directed by Anthony Banks, the production will run in Theatre Royal Bath's Main House from 13 to 23 November with opening night for press on 20 November.

PBS is transporting viewers back to East London with a seventh season of the critically acclaimed British drama CALL THE MIDWIFE. The series returns on March 25, 2018, with back-to-back episodes from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET on PBS. The Sunday night lineup also features two new MASTERPIECE programs, including 'The Child in Time,' starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Kelly Macdonald, April 1, 9:00-10:30 p.m. ET, and 'Unforgotten' April 8-May 13, 2018, 9:00-10:30 p.m. ET.

Last night, Nikolai Foster's revival of ANNIE opened at the Piccadilly Theatre in London's West End. The production stars Miranda Hart as Miss Hannigan, Alex Bourne as Daddy Warbucks, Holly Dale Spencer as Grace Farrell, Jonny Fines as Rooster and Djalenga Scott as Lily.

PBS announced today that the popular Christmas special and a seventh season of the critically acclaimed BBC drama CALL THE MIDWIFE will return to PBS.The CALL THE MIDWIFE HOLIDAY SPECIAL will air in late 2017 and the seventh season will air in the spring of 2018.

Now, Trevor Nunn – inspired by Dan Rebellato's introduction in a Nick Hern Books edition of the two versions – has synthesised them, to intriguing and largely successful effect.
