The Awesome 80s Prom, which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary in NYC at the famed nightclub Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street), will be opening in Seoul, Korea at the H Club at Hong-Dae Station for an open-ended run.

While New York audiences continue to party like it's 1989, the Off-Broadway phenomenon has also enjoyed runs in Boston (still going strong!), Minneapolis, Baltimore, and Chicago. And, The Awesome 80s Prom is now available for licensing. It has already been performed at many regional theaters and high schools across the country.

The Awesome 80s Prom, the celebrated off-Broadway smash hit, now in its fourth year, has recouped its investment, becoming a rare Off-Broadway success story, has launched productions across the US. While New York audiences continue to party like it's 1989 at the famed nightclub, Webster Hall, it has also enjoyed runs in Minneapolis, Baltimore, and Chicago. The production of LONE STAR LOVE, currently playing an engagement at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, has canceled its Broadway engagement this fall.

LONE STAR LOVE will open on Broadway on Monday, December 3 at New York's Belasco Theatre; previews will begin Thursday, November 1.

PS Classics released the original cast recording of last season's acclaimed production of Lone STAR LOVE on Tuesday, January 10, 2006.

PS Classics will record the cast album of the recent much-acclaimed production of Lone Star Love on March 2nd. Directed by Michael Bogdanov (Olivier Award-winner for The War of the Roses), LONE STAR LOVE is inspired by the play The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare, conceived and adapted by John L. Haber, with music and lyrics by Jack Herrick, and contributions from Michael Bogdanov, Bland Simpson and Tommy Thompson. Randy Skinner (2001 Tony® nominee, 42nd Street) is choreographer. Discussions are underway for a commercial transfer.

LONE STAR LOVE, the new musical at the John Houseman Theatre, has been extended by popular demand through February 6. The Amas Musical Theatre Production, also known as the Merry Wives of Windsor Texas, was originally scheduled to run through January 9.
