Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 64th Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards were announced May 4, 2010 by Broadway Star Lea Michele and Tony Award Nominee Jeff Daniels.

According to Variety, The Last Goodbye, the rock version of Romeo and Juliet featuring songs by Jeff Buckley, will be premiering at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The show will be produced by WTF in association with Hal Luftig, Ruth and Stephen Hendel, Alan D. Marks, and Stephen Moore.

The PS Classics cast recording of the Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow was released in stores Tuesday, February 2. Marks have announced that the box office opens today for the Broadway production of the critically-acclaimed New York City Center Encores! production of Finian's Rainbow, which transfers to Broadway's St. James Theatre, 246 West 44 Street, beginning Thursday, October 8 at 8pm, with an opening set for Thursday, October 29 at 6:45pm.

The New York Times reports that producer Jeffrey Richards has announced that the current revival Eugene O'Neill DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS starring two-time Tony Award winner Brian Dennehy, stage and screen star Carla Gugino, and Tony nominee Pablo Schreiber, under the direction of Tony Award Winner Robert Falls will close May 24 at the St. James Theatre after a run of 32 performances.

The Broadway run of DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS would appear to be ending earlier than planned if Telecharge is any indication, the ticket service is now only selling seats for the production through May 24th, 2009.
