Rivertown Theaters will hold auditions for its 2021-22 season of musicals.

Actors, Singers, Dancers ages 16+. Universal casting including any race, gender or physical abilities will be in effect and encouraged for all productions. Some tap dancers needed for Elf and Mary Poppins. Roles for character actors of all shapes and sizes in all shows.
Children are needed for Elf, Matilda and Mary Poppins. A separate children's audition will be held at a later date, TBA.
Vocal Auditions
DATE/TIME: Sunday, July 11, slots starting at 4:30pm and Monday, July 12, starting at 5:00pm

Dance Audition
DATE/TIME: Sunday, July 11
6:00pm - Mover call
6:45pm- Dancer call, A tap combination will be taught after the general dancer call
WHAT TO PREPARE: 32 bars of a musical theatre (or similar) song that shows your vocal range and acting ability. You may sing a song from the season shows if you choose, however all singers must bring their own sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. Movers/Dancers will be taught a combination.
VIDEO SUBMISSIONS: If you cannot attend in person (preferred), vocal video submissions will be accepted, and you will be contacted regarding a dance audition.Videos must be submitted via a platform like Youtube, Vimeo or similar, then provide us with the link. Videos should be sent to

HEALTH GUIDELINES:
Rivertown Theaters has been safely producing since June 2020. Rivertown Theaters will continue to follow all Health & Safety Protocols set forth by the City of Kenner and the State of Louisiana. All staff members have been fully vaccinated. It is preferred that all cast members be vaccinated, however non-vaccinated individuals are welcome to audition.
