Great Lakes Theater Announces
CHORUS AUDITIONS for GUYS AND DOLLS
The auditions, scheduled for November 29th,
are by appointment only.
Great Lakes Theater (GLT) is seeking EQUITY (AEA) and Non-EQUITY (Non-AEA) singers / actors / dancers of all cultures and backgrounds for the company's production of Guys and Dolls. Rehearsals will begin on April 2, 2013; with performance dates scheduled from May 1 through June 30, 2013.
Guys and Dolls chorus auditions will be held on Thursday, November 29th, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the PlayhouseSquare’s Helen Rosenfeld Lewis Bialosky Lab Theatre. The exterior, street level entrance to the building has green tinted windows and is located on the corner of Dodge Court and East 15th Street. Auditions are by appointment only. Persons auditioning will need to return for a dance call later that day. The male dance call is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The female dance call is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Those auditioning should prepare one brief contemporary monologue and thirty-two bars of a song.The total audition time should not exceed ninety seconds. An accompanist will be provided. Persons auditioning should bring a current head shot and resume.
