Female Equity actors for the role of MURIEL in the Developmental Lab production of the new musical, GOTTA DANCE, based on the 2008 documentary of the same name.

Preparation
Prepare a brief comedic musical theatre song. Bring sheet music; a piano accompanist will be provided. Bring a photo and resume stapled together.

[MURIEL] Female, 60s - 70s, any ethnicity. A member of a senior citizens' hip-hop dance team. She can't see her hand in front of her face, but she refuses to wear her eyeglasses. A follower who ends up under the wings of Fran (a smooth-talking Mary Kay saleswoman). Must be very funny. Strong singer. PRINCIPAL
